Each MagTag™ comes with a standard CR2032 battery included at no extra cost. These are used for factory testing and have a limited life span.

For the best performance and longer battery life, we recommend upgrading for 6-12 months battery life. You can easily monitor the battery status within the "Find My" app, ensuring you're always aware of its condition. We recommend using high-quality brand-name lithium cell batteries for optimal performance and longevity.

For replacement, our preferred choice is the Panasonic Lithium Button Battery, which is known for its reliability and durability. These batteries are supplied in convenient 5-pack sets, providing you with multiple replacements to keep your MagTag™ functioning smoothly.
